After watching a few videos, I opened the front of the dryer, removed the old pieces and put in the new ones. This model of dryer was pretty easy to work with. One thing that I didn't expect to be so difficult was the removal of the old blower wheel. The new one slid right on, but the old one didn't want to budge without a lot of force. If you can go ahead and get the special snap ring pliers, it would definitely make it easier to get the snap ring off and on, but I did the repair with a set of tweezers. I recommend wearing work gloves--I got a few nicks on my hands while doing the repair.
