Main steps have been described many times. The main time element on this was pulling all the screws necessary to get into the microwave. Once you are putting the latch bracket into place, you have to pull on the plastic holder for the bracket pretty firmly to slide in the new bracket, so much that it seems like it will break. This is an easy fix.
