Took outside cover off door on ice maker unplugged wire connectors removed the screw holding the shoot cover watch out for the spring that hold it back into place pulled out broken cover replaced spring on new cover put it into place screwed plate that hold the cover back into place plugged wires back replaced cover and bang back in business. Replace side slide on bracket with new one works like a champ Repairs where not that hard if you study what your getting into
