I replaced the valve. The valve I bought didn't come with any instructions, but I had done it once before (with a non-OEM valve). There are a LOT of parts in the parts bag - I didn't end up using hardly any of them. The two output connections were push-in, so all I did was trim the existing hoses nice and square and push them in. No leaks.
