My frig thawed out overnight. The compressor sounded like it was starting to run and then would just stop. Not cooling at all. After reading other people having similar problems, I put in the model number and found the parts I needed (starter and capacitor). By looking at these parts, you can’t tell if they are bad or not, but I figured it was worth a shot based on other similar stories. Changing them out wasn’t hard at all took the back cover off , found the parts right off of the compressor, pulled them off. Literally took about 5 minutes. I spent longer than that cleaning out all the accumulated dust that was behind the cover. Ordered the parts, and they arrived the next day....even faster than Amazon deliveries! Put the new parts in and a few minutes later it was working again. Ice cold in a couple hours!
