I noticed the water in the dishwasher was not draining. It was chalky white. I could hear the drain pump groan but no water drained. I removed the drain pipe under the sink and it was full of caked grease. After reassembling it was better but still not draining fully. I decided to replace the drain pump. Easy replacement. Video was exactly what I have. New pump is strong. Dishes are clean and teenagers are happier... (no dishes by hand) well as happy as teens get.
