Our 14-year-old dishwasher occasionally leaked under the front door -- not always, intermittently -- so I could never figure out exactly what the issue was. We thought it was perhaps the way we loaded it with dishes -- bowls in the bottom front near the door seemed to exacerbate the issue -- but then eventually that theory did not pan out. So, after visiting AppliancePartsPros.com (my go-to appliance repair site for over 15 years now), I decided it had to be one of the door seals. After reading one of the other reviews, I was influenced to replace all three seal parts (the Splash Shield Kit, the Bottom Gasket, and the Tub Gasket). Now, after one week+ of running the dishwasher at least once daily, and loading it every which way we can think of, the leaking door seems to be fixed. Replacement of all three items took 30 minutes (watch the video first!). Now, after the fact, if I had to guess which seal was the problem and based on the condition of the removed parts, I would say (1) it was the splash shields as the old ones were torn, and/or (2) it was the bottom gasket as the old one was worn and moldy (and, it appeared that moisture was seeping a bit into the inside of the door. The tub gasket itself did not seem too bad. So, if you are having similar leakage issues and want to minimize your expense, replace the three seals one-by-one in that order.
