Surmised that it was the drain pump. Checked out the video. Seemed straight forward. Bought the replacement drain pump. Unhooked the water supply hose and the drain hose. Flipped the breaker and pulled the dishwasher out. Turned it on its side. More water, got some towels. Removed the motor assembly that was blocking the pump (2 screws & a bracket) and then the drain pump (3 screws). Installed new pump, replaced the motor assembly and bracket, stood it up and pushed it in. Flipped the breaker and ran the rinse only cycle to check it for issues. All in all, 1.5 hours could do it again in half the time.
