First I took apart the internal parts to find a variety of objects in the sump part going to the chopper blade. I removed and vacuumed out the area with my wet/dry vac. and removed the chopper assembly ( when I went to reinstall the chopper assembly the plastic ring around the inner hole crumbled away and stopped me from finishing the cleaning. I ordered a new chopper assembly and a impeller and seal kit ( the seal was just starting to leak) and when I received my parts, I installed them with no issue and the impeller was quiet simple to replace and before reinstalling the motor I cleaned the inner screen. ( only wish the original chopper assembly did not fall apart). I also found that the water level was not correct after the first wash. I ordered a new inlet valve to fix that problem (still waiting on that to arrive). I found with all appliances, they are simple to work on, you just need to know what is causing the problem and youtube.com helps a lot.
