Based on the "tips" provided per the source of the problem. I ordered the thermal fuse, heating element, and thermal cut-off...I figured that since I was dismantling a 14 yr old dryer I would just go ahead and replace all 3 items while I was in the guts of the dryer. The dismantling process was fairly easy....the ultimate problem was that the heating element had "died". Re-assembled the dryer and turned it on...it now works perfectly. It's a one-person repair but it would be good to have someone available to hold the dryer drum in place while you attach the belt to the pulley/motor (I used an extra set of hands)....it is so much easier than struggling to do two things at once
