Two repairs here: My dryer was not drying. I did some research online and learned it might be the thermal fuse. Found the part here along with the *very* helpful video. Part came, I followed the directions, and in less than 10 minutes had a functioning dryer again. Certainly beat spending $600 for a new dryer. :-) My washer was hopelessly off balance. Again did some internet research and learned about the springs. Watched the *very* helpful video and bought the parts. This one took longer and getting the springs off was difficult. I found taking off the bracket allowed me to remove the springs more easily. Also, I was able to use the bracket as a lever to stretch the spring and then screwing the bracket in place, which made the reinstall faster than trying to pull the spring to the bracket. In the end, saved $600 by not buying a new washer. Thanks for the parts and videos!
