We purchased a new dryer drum belt, idler assembly and idler tension spring. Followed the video instructions and it's like new.
Originally, we purchased the replacement parts through Amazon because of delivery the next day. That was a mistake. The idler assembly wheel collapsed and the belt shredded leaving debris all over the inside of the dryer housing. Though the part looked the same, it was clearly inferior. I would definitely not make that mistake again.
