Found a YouTube video with the exact problem on a dryer model make of the same make and similar design to mine and watched how to fix. AppliancePartsPros had all of the parts, so for ~$100, I was able to fix the problem and save $$$ from not having to use a repair person. YouTube seems to have every possible fix out there!
