After looking up the problem on the internet I figured it was either the thermal fuse or the drum belt.
After following your great video on taking the dryer apart I discovered the dryer belt was broken after just removing the lid. I ordered the part from your website and the belt showed up quickly.
After following the video instructions I took the dryer apart (with my kids help- 8 and 10 y.o.) and replaced the drum belt as instructed. It was easy and being able to review the video over a few times at certain steps gave me and my kids confidence we could do the job.
We replaced the belt and put the dryer back together and did a load of laundry that evening to prove what a great job we did- dad was very impressed when he got home from his trip and we saved him the $175 visit from the repair man.
