I ordered a motor, belt, idler pulley, rear drum rollers and front drum guides. I watched the video first and assembled the necessary tools and took it apart. Disassembly was straightforward and easy and I used my IPad to photograph wires going on switches so I wouldn’t make mistakes on reassembly. I found the motor almost locked up and the blower wheel very loose on the shaft of the motor. The front drum felt was in bad shape as well. I inspected all the parts I had planned on replacing and ended up not replacing the 2 drum support rollers, 2 front guides or the idler pulley. My Maytag Neptune was 21 years old and still had lube in the bushings of the moving parts. I put it back together so the wife wouldn’t be without it while I ordered the felt and the blower wheel from AppliancePartsPros.
