I have an 11yr old GE electric freestanding range and over the years the burners were dying one by one, until this Jan 2023 we were down to only one burner and only the warmer was still working. I was considering getting a new range but after watching YouTube videos and thought it might be an easy DIY fix. So I looked online and found the parts to try before purchasing a brand new one. It took me about 2hrs to change (might take others less time) since the connections were a bit tighter to detach than I thought for my own strength. But it was an easy job, after all, just had to disconnect/connect everything back and just like a new cooktop once again! I'm nowhere near a handy person but a very proud graphic designer able to fix it all by myself!.
