Joseph K Franklinton , LA January 18, 2015 My electric jenn air oven wouldn't come on along with light or down draft display was showing f1 f7 After doing a short search on internet I came across appliance parts and tech informed me that the key pad is shorted or the ribbon cable is damaged. This is a known issue that is usually caused by heat. My appliance has been in service for 7 years. Only thing is you can't just purchase the key pad. You have to get the complete front panel with keypad. Appliance parts pros got me back up and going in 2 days. Thanks for the quick fix and quick delivery. I don't know if it is advisable but I took the keypad from the new panel which is attached by a tacky adhesive.
