Roger A Valencia , PA December 07, 2018 Appliance: Model FRIGIDAIRE FEFL77ABA F1 error code Unscrewed the top back plate with a small nut driver and removed the controller with a phillips screwdriver (I used a 6-in-one for both). I replaced both the controller (AP3693959) and faceplate (AP2126499) at the same time rather than try to peel off the old faceplate. Before purchase, I was concerned my oven's 15 pin connector would not match the two 6 pin connectors on the controller. Here's how it goes: Plug the large 15 pin connector in matching up the first pin on the far left of the left 6 pin connector and it spans across both 6 pin connectors and works fine. There are three unused pins in the 15 pin connector at pin numbers 7, 14, and 15 (counting from the left). Pin 7 spans the bridge between the two 6 pin connectors and pins 14 and 15 extend beyond the right side of the right 6 pin connector. Take a picture of the old one before removal if you need to. Also, there are two unused spade terminals below the Bake-Broil-L1 spade terminals that do not get used on the new board. Hopefully, this new controller is more robust and does not fail in the FULL-ON condition as did the original board! Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
