Since it is difficult to get to the fans, I decided to replace both and avoid any future problems. I ordered the evap and duct fan motors and replaced both. I ordered the fans expecting it to take a week for delivery. They arrived the next day. The door of the freezer section must be removed, along with its slide rails to get to the cover panel in the rear of the freezer. Once the cover is removed, access to the motors is good and it's just unplug the old motors and plug in the new. I would suggest the ordering of the seal that attaches to the duct fan since it is glued in place and difficult to remove without tearing. Replacing the 1/4" screws in the recessed holes is difficult. I used a small bit of ticky tack putty to hold the screw in the nut driver to start them.
