I tested the thermal fuse & thermistor with a multimeter. They were both bad & I replaced them. Then I checked to see why they both went bad & discovered that the flexible exhaust hose was partially collapsed & full of lint. It apparently caused the dryer to overheat because there wasn’t enough exhaust air flow & caused the fuses to burn out. I replaced the hose with a new better grade one that won’t collapse very easily. I also rerouted the hose & in doing so was able to eliminate about 15 feet of hose. It seems to be working great.
