The microwave suddenly stopped working. No display, no light, nothing. After opening up the microwave I checked the fuse, fire sensor and thermal overload with a continuity tester. They all checked out. With the microwave plugged in and not running, I checked voltage at several points. It was clear that the main control board was getting voltage but it was not turning anything on. I took out the control board and saw a spot where the board had obviously overheated so I concluded it was the board and ordered a new one. Once the board came in, it only took a few minutes to install and test.... It is now working fine.
