Michelle F Portland , OR May 09, 2016 Our ice was frozen together in the bin While skeptical that the maker was going to fix the whole thing, I tried anyway. The ice maker was remarkably easy to replace. One phillips head screw and the piece slides out. I disconnected the wires, slipped the new one in, plugged in the new maker and voila! It's been 3 days and we're getting cubes again and can even use the dispenser. It took more time to get a kid to get behind the fridge to unplug it. Replacing the part took < 4 minutes.
