Checked the water valve for the ice maker and water dispenser and it was leaking. Replaced the valve. Replacement valve had NO instructions and one of the fittings to extend the tubing was incorrect. 5/16" to 1/4" instead of 5/16" to 5/16". Went to hardware store for correct fitting. Fixed the leaking problem but not the icemaker. Looked at problem with icemaker and appeared to be controller. You can buy the controller for $85.00 or the whole replacement icemaker for a couple of dollars more. Replaced the icemaker and problem fixed. Less than $150.00 and my time and my 25 year old refrigerator is good for another 10-20 years.
