This was a quick fix. Take off the back panel, remove the securing screw for the existing sensor, unplug the existing sensor in the back, pull it out from the oven side. Reverse the steps to secure the new sensor. Then perform a calibration (youTube videos for your model) which required bringing the oven to temp, waiting 30 minutes to get the current true reading with a different thermometer (mine was still low by 13 degrees), push the special button combination to access the menu, type in the offset amount, hit enter and voila!
