Mice had got behind the dishwasher and chewed a hole in the sump. It was a relatively easy repair. I shut off the power, pulled the dishwasher out, and turned it on its side. After that it was just a matter of loosening three clamps, removing the drain, removing the turbidity sensor, and then pulling the sump off. With the sump removed I was also able to clean the impeller. My wife has long hair and there was a significant amount of hair wrapped around the impeller. Installation was as easy as doing all of the previous steps in reverse.
