I ran the diagnostics mode which DID NOT show a thermistor fault. So I started with the moisture sensors. That did not fix the issue. So then if I was going to rip the drier apart I took a swing at changing the thermistor, thermostat on the blower housing, and then the high temp thermostat on the heater. Glad I did because the internals of the drier needed a good cleaning (a LOT of dog hair). Also, found one of the guide wheels for the drum was frozen w/ human (wife -- I'm bald) hair wrapped around -- cut that off and greased it. Put it all back together and it seems to be working like a charm. Under $100 and a little time is better than 1100+ for a new dryer.
