Tim W Mckinney , TX September 21, 2014 I have a lg front loading washer that was making a loud grinding noise on the spin cycle A repair man said a bearing was out and estimated repairs at $600+, or just replace unit. I researched parts and video online and decided to tackle repair myself. Appliance parts was very helpful in finding parts, ordering, and shipping. Online help is the only area that needs improvement as I was seeking help in identifying other parts that might need replacement since machine was torn down this far. I worked with several different agents as I was dropped several times. None were of much help. I decided to replace the 2 bearings and seal. In addition, I replaced the spyder, tub gasket and front boot. Machine works like new now.
