Our LG dryer came with our new home and it turns out the folks before us must have "repaired" it but left out some of the screws so the whole filter unit was off and eventually broke in a spectacular way. I'm all for DIY repairs, if they aren't too complicated. So, I got on the web, researched whether I could repair this myself and came to the conclusion the answer was yes.
I searched the web for replacement parts and Applicance Parts Pros came up. The website was organized (it even suggested combination of parts that usually go together which was helpful) and their prices were competitive.
The website said they delivereed quickly and that was true. In my case, I ordered on the web late Thursday night and it arrived on our doorstep (regular shipping) Saturday morning.
The repair was pretty straight forward and now we are back up and running!
