I went to your web sight. I entered the GE dishwasher model # and found the gasket was available. While looking up the needed gasket I happened to see an applicable how-to replace the gasket video and watched it. It was easy to follow and VERY helpful. As I watched, I wrote down the gasket replacement procedure step-by-step. I ordered the needed gasket and received it in 2 days (AMAZING). The replacement entailed disconnecting the water supply, the power supply and the discharge hose. I removed the screws attaching the unit to the countertop, then I slid the unit out from under the countertop and leaned it back to access the bottom of the door. I removed the kick panel, disconnected the wiring harness and I removed the screws at the bottom of the door that holds the door on the hinges. The video showed how to safely and easily prop the door open using a couple of hex wrenches before removing the door from the hinges. I slid the door up and off the hinges, laid it on its face on a towel, slid out the remaining piece of the original gasket and slid in the new gasket. I put the door back onto the hinges, installed the screws, reconnected the wiring harness, and reinstalled the kick plate. I leaned the unit forward and set it back on the floor. I slid it back into place while pulling the water supply line, power supply cord, and discharge hose back to where they needed to be under the adjacent sink. I reinstalled the screws that attach the unit to the countertop, then connected the water supply and turned it on. I then connected the discharge hose and plugged in the power supply. The gasket was replaced and the dishwasher was back in service in less than an hour thanks to your video.
