Replaced the motor and belt. Belt was okay, but 10 years old. Unplugged the washer. Used putty knife to release the clips at on the top cover. Removed the 2 screws holding the front cover. Removed the plastic shield from the top of the motor, 2 screws. Unplugged the motor and removed the 2 mounting screws at the base. Lifted the front about 5 inches and blocked with some wood. This allows belt removal. Just lift the motor out. There are a few parts that need removed from the old motor and mounted to the new motor. This is easy to do. Just set the new and old side by side and move the parts. The cleanup up takes the most time. There is a nylon slide button and bushings that move on the guide plate. There was grease on these when I removed them so I put a small amount on new grease back when I reassembled. Just put everything back in the reverse order. Works great.
