Bruce D Gaithersburg , MD February 25, 2017 Oven door glass broken There are 4 levels that need to be removed. The first is the hardest of getting the outer shell off that has 20 years of cooking residue on it. Each layer has obvious screws or nuts that need to come off. A phillips, torx, and nut driver are needed. This was a good time to clean the inside of the outer glass pane and the inside of the door. Make sure that all the broken glass is removed. The panels only go in one way so need to fret out that. The hardest part overall is getting the door off and on. The torx screws come out easily but you have to pull straight out very hard and then the hinges snap back (loudly). To put the door back on, I used small wooden blocks to hold the hinges out about 25 degrees. It took 2 tries the first time I put it back on (I needed to pull the glass to make sure I ordered the correct part) and 3 tries the second time.
