My research of other comments was that, most likely, a faulty sensor was to blame - that there seems to be some sort of design flaw with the sensor. Sometimes, the problem happened right away. Sometimes, it seemed like it would successfully finish the cycle, but I would come back later to find it faulted. So I took a chance and went with the prevailing opinions and ordered the sensor and replaced it. It only took me about 30 minutes. It took longer than it should have only because I did the work with the dishwasher just slid out and not on it's side and it was awkward working the hose clamps. I also had to have some towels and paper towels to soak up any entrained water to be sure not to get any on the tray and trigger the leak error code. I kept it all dry, got it back together and ran it successfully, so the part was the correct conclusion and a lot cheaper than paying someone to come do it for me.
