Messaged the Appliance Parts Pros YouTube post with no response, then called them. After consulting with others the "rep" told me that the straight auger with the drum was replaced by Whirlpool for two separate parts (curled metal auger and plastic drum). I ordered the parts which arrived quickly (in 2 days). Then watched the 2 YouTube videos they sent me and was able to change out the old with the new in about 2 hours. Slipping off & on the washer nut was the most difficult. Now my ice dispenser is perfect, thanks to Appliance Parts Pros. Side note: In the past, I have ordered a gas stove burner part, the ice maker itself, and 2 refrigerator door shelves from them. The only time I needed to hire a pro is for the icemaker installation.
