During my troubleshooting process, I started opening up the washer to locate the pump to see how hard it would be to accomplish this task. I was suspicious of this maybe being a control board problem because it didn't happen every time. I called Appliance Parts Pros for assistance in the troubleshooting process, expressed my concern about the control board and they were a great help in suggesting I start with the pump as this was the most likely culprit. When I had it open I noticed one of the shock absorbers was very rusty so I ordered one of those too and again, Appliance Parts Pros helped me with the selection and had it been left up to me, I would have ordered the wrong one.
