Knew it was likely the heater element but ordered the thermostat and thermal fuse at same time just in case and why not since you can return unopened/uninstalled parts.
Tested element when I got the dryer disassembled and that was issue. New part was perfect fit and no hassle. Returned unused parts using the website returns section, very easy and should have my refund in a few days.
