Aaron S Apex , NC October 08, 2018 My Samsung dryer would not stop running unless the door was open or it was unplugged. The drum was making a terrible noise. I replaced the PCB to fix the issue with the unit running with no power. Basically, all it took was undoing 2 screws to remove the control panel and another screw to remove the faulty PCB. To fix the banging noise I had to disassemble the entire dryer and found one of the motor clamps had come loose and was catching on the drum. I cleaned out some lint that had gotten in to the unit and then replaced the original motor clamp before reassembling the dryer. It works like new now.
