Removed outer case, water fill spout, agitator, inner drum then outer tub. Tub was hard to get off due to rust buildup in the rubber seal area. Replaced all three suspension pads, three suspension springs and the smaller balance spring in the back of the base. Cleaned up rusty base, inner drum and seal are where tub seal goes. Used rustoleum rust reverting spray. Turns rusty metal into a black primer. Great stuff! Reassembled everything. Now spins smoothly. The suspension pads didn’t look too bad, but the new ones are much “slicker” my old springs were weakened from rust and the smaller one was completely broken.
