Replaced the pump with new and disassembled the suds saver valve, cleaned and inspected the valve, reassembled and ops checked the electrical function. Cleaned all hoses and traps. Washer works fine but the drain back problem still remains. As the suds saver valve is not available, I am going to bypass it. Like the washer, while old, is in very good condition and suds saver units are no longer available.
I wish I could still purchase a new diaphragm for the suds valve!!! I appreciate all the videos and repair info on your site and the quick arrival of the parts I ordered.
