After doing research online, found the parts that lined up with my problem. Also found a GREAT instructional "how-to" video which gave me the confidence to try it myself. I am NOT a mechanical guy.
The model in the video was electric, and my dryer is propane gas, but the location of the parts I had to replace were the same for both. The only difficulty I had was that the dryer is stacked on top of the washer (connected), and since I did NOT want to separate the two, it was a little heavier to slide the double-unit around so I could access all the screws, etc.. But it worked fine.
