1) unplug appliance
2) remove control panel
3) remove cabinet
4) remove fabric softener dispenser
5) remove agitating column
6) remove set nut with special removal tool and hammer
7) remove metal basket
8) tap out damaged drive block
9) lay washer on its back
10) remove motor (disengage clips) with transmission intact (remove 3 transmission bolts)
11) squeeze brake system and twist while pulling to remove damaged basket drive
12) install new basket drive
13) work in reverse to install new drive block and assemble washer
