Sharlene M Albuquerque , NM August 26, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF328AAW/XAA-0001 Samsung Washer Wf328aaw/Xaa-0001 / : Washer would not go in to high spin cycle clothes not rinsed properly or adequately spun dried excessive knocking and rolling. How to replace Washer Drain Pump Assembly. 1. Got the service manual. Removed back panel and removed drain pump completely tore it apart noticed a lot of sand in the impeller portion, cleaned it and reassembled. Power tested the motor seemed ok but did notice browning on case like it overheated. Cleaned sump drain hose no blockage. Put everything back together ran a test load of towels. Same thing not rinsing or draining properly. Ran the quick diagnostic test in service mode, checks pump on and off, water valves on off and dispenser drain, motor drum clockwise and counter,... . spin all good. Put the machine in diagnostic code check - no codes. Hmmm - however when I looked at the description of "dc" code it described the symptoms "unbalance or cabinet bump is detected during final spin, which prevents the drum from spinning over 400 rpm due to unbalance load." Corrective action go to "Wet Clothes" troubleshooting. But it makes sense that the pump is working overtime to drain the tub before it will high spin. Probably their VRT technology. I ordered another pump assembly includes motor and impeller. When I checked the level of the machine it was way off and there was a back foot that had the rubber pad completely ground off. So replaced drain pump assembly, replaced feet with some serious vibration isolators,(from a 600# air compressor), leveled the 4 corners with a spot on bubble level. Ran a huge heavy test load and it was humming quietly and cleaning and spin drying on high like a new machine.
