After looking at where the washer was water from seal on the bottom of tub. had to take the whole washer apart to get to the part that failed. After ordering some parts from other supplier found out I needed even more parts. The spanner wrench is a very necessary item you need to get the hub nut off. Mine was corroded so had to come off in pieces, being very careful not to damage threads on shaft. The split ring was also corroded so it came off in two pieces. After cleaning everything and a little work with some emery cloth on the shaft started putting it back together. It was a lot easier going back together than coming apart. So at last got washing machine back together and she works fine now. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours
