Had to disable and found that the outer tub seal had failed. This allowed water to run into the shaft of the clutch mechanism, causing corrosion. Lead to misalignment and eventually failure.
After disassembly, I found that the outer tub portion also had to be replaced. The part of the tub which the shaft seal slides in to, had elongated from the wobbling.
I chose to change the flywheel during this service simply because I was uncertain if the flywheel had been compromised. It was not damaged at all.
A note to the next person. You will need either the wrench they sell here or a (I think it was a 1-7/16 or a 1-11/16) socket to remove the nut. I had an impact socket and an air impact hammer. Made the job really easy.
Also, be careful removing the control cover, I did not slide the unit to the left far enough and ended up shearing off the plastic tabs which secure it to the top cover. Regardless, it still went back on and stays in place.
