Robert W Middletown , NJ December 26, 2018 Appliance: Model MAYTAG A412 SERIES 04 Washer's water pump seized smelled burning rubber. Couldn't find parts for my Maytag washer; well over 20 years old. Called a repair guy to help assess, they wanted $400 to do the repair. Diagnostic fee was $80. Positive result was I got part numbers for the pump and belts and as usual AppliancePartsPros.com had them in stock. Even better was a video they posted about how easy it was to do the repair, so I ordered the pump and got belts just because I would have it all opened up, and did the repair in 20 mins, parts were an EXACT match. No more need to shop for a new washer, that should hold it for several more years. And I did it for less than half the cost. THANKS! 12 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
