Art S Chula Vista , CA December 30, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Washer WCVH6800J2WW Ge Washer Wcvh6800j2ww: Water leaking from washing machine dispenser. How to replace Dispenser Seal. Purchased a $14 part from AppliancePartsPros after learning the repair guy was going to charge me $197.00 to do the work. Instead of paying the guy to do it for me. I bought the $14 part and went to work taking apart my washing machine to get to it. It was not the easiest fix, but I did get the job done and the leak is fixed. I was kind of set back on the quality of parts that GE uses for their machines. GE seems to ensure you will need to replace parts on a washing machine within the first five years. I miss the days when you bought a washing machine and it lasted 20 years. GE especially seems to be in the busy to nickle and dime their customers instead of making good quality products. I will probably need to change this part again in another three to four years, but at least I know I can come to AppliancePartsPros to get what I need and fix any issues.... thanks Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
