We inherited a 2009 vintage Whirlpool WTW3200VW2 upon moving into our house. The machine shook and walked a lot on spin cycle. Playing the odds, I went after all the springs first, as they were cited as being the leading causes. Plus, I managed to get a very good look at all the suspension pads, and they all looked and felt fine. The springs all looked fine too - they even had some of the factory grease on them, the underside of the machine was pretty much immaculate, but the tub was filthy. I cleaned the tub thoroughly as well. The three (3) suspension springs were very difficult to remove, space was very limited and it was hard to get a good pull angle. That was the only hiccup, the rest went very, very well - owed in large part to the awesome videos on the Appliance Parts Pros website. The videos could not have been easier for me to follow. The machine still shakes, although it's somewhat improved from before. Due to the almost new appearance of the machine's underbelly, I think my next step will be to try to reduce the walking problem with special footings and/or mats made especially for washers and dryers. The fact that the laundry room is tiled and on the second floor, no doubt adds to the machine's susceptibility to walk and shake. In any case, I'll be returning to Appliance Parts Pros anytime I have another appliance issue, again because the videos are great and also the ability to search and fine the correct parts for a specific machine model - and get them right the first time - is so valuable!
