This replacement oil drain plug is a genuine OEM part for a lawn tractor or generator engine. The oil drain plug connects to the base of the oil tank and allows the appliance owner to drain used oil and replace it with new, clean oil. The oil drain plug is threaded to screw into the oil tank and prevent it from popping out of place while the appliance is in use. The most likely reason to replace an oil drain plug is if the old plug's threading has become stripped and no longer holds onto the oil tank. Alternatively, the plug is quite small and could easily be misplaced during an oil change. If lost, oil will leak from the engine, causing parts to overheat. Fortunately, replacing a lost or damaged oil drain plug is simple and only requires screwing a new plug into place. This replacement plug is a high-quality part that fits Craftsman and Murray products. It comes sourced from its original manufacturer and ships individually, without any additional hardware.

This replacement governor gear is a certified genuine OEM part for a lawn tractor or mower engine. The governor is responsible for regulating the throttle. The interaction of the governor spring and governor gear works to position the throttle in such a way that it only allows a set amount of fuel into the carburetor. With less fuel in the carburetor, the engine will run slower. In this case, a slower engine means slower blade rotations. Like any gear, the governor gear has teeth the spin against another gear. Over time, the constant gnashing of gear teeth will cause the gears to wear down and possibly slip out of alignment. Once a gear is out of alignment, it will either stop working completely or degrade more quickly and should be replaced as soon as possible. Replacing the governor gear will require disassembling the engine cover and should be done in accordance with the owner's manual and manufacturer's instructions. This replacement governor gear is a high-quality part sourced from its original manufacturer. It is compatible with engines made by Briggs & Stratton and Toro. This shipment includes a governor gear and the brackets required for assembly.

This O-ring seal is used in all sorts of lawn and garden equipment as a seal for the oil dipstick. It helps seal the system from debris and dirt that could otherwise reach the oil and end up in the motor. Over time, an O-ring will start to shrink, which can result in air and oil leaks and a poorly performing engine. If the O-ring has pits, blisters, or pocks on the surface, it will also need to be replaced. If an O-ring seal is worn, damaged, or clogged, it should be cleaned or replaced before the equipment that houses it is used again. A flat head screwdriver can be used to remove the damaged O-ring. Once the old one has been removed, a new one can be placed into the same position before using the tool. This O-ring seal is designed for lawnmowers, snowblowers, tillers, wood chippers, pressure washers, generators, and leaf blowers. It is compatible with equipment from Simplicity, Briggs & Stratton, MTD, Craftsman, Snapper, Toro, Lawn-Boy, and Cub Cadet. The seal is a genuine OEM replacement part directly sourced from the manufacturer. It comes with a single seal.

The oil filter strains the oil as it runs through the machine, helping to remove debris and buildup to ensure that only the purest oil gets into the engine. Over time, oil gets dirty, and therefore so will the filter. This could lead to clogs and will eventually require replacement. Typically, oil filters are replaced as a part of routine oil changes, but there are some instances where an emergency replacement may be required. Replacing a clogged oil filter could improve the performance of the equipment and help reduce your emissions. To replace the oil filter, drain all of the oil from the engine and use an oil filter wrench to remove the old filter and screw the new one in place. Once the filter is secured, refill the oil and get back to using the equipment at the optimal operating performance. This Briggs & Stratton oil filter offers compatibility with a number of its lawn equipment engines. All genuine parts from this brand are designed to provide optimal performance and adhere to emissions guidelines. Be sure to check your user manual for fit and model compatibility.
