A fuel filter is designed to ensure that the fuel flowing into an engine is as clean as possible. When combined with an effective air filter, this dramatically improves engine durability. In general, a fuel filter should be replaced during a small engine’s annual maintenance cycle. This is true whether the filter is inside a lawnmower, snowblower, or another small engine. Symptoms of a failed fuel filter include stalling, particularly when the throttle is fully open. A clogged fuel filter can also be checked visually. If it’s cloudy or there are particles are inside, it needs to be replaced. If there is visible rust during this process, check the fuel can and gas tank for any rust on the inside. Discard any bad gas and replace it with fresh gasoline. Initially, this fuel filter was used for MTD snowblowers. Since then, it’s been used by several other manufacturers, including Briggs & Stratton, Cub Cadet, Yard Machines, and Honda. This is an OEM filter sourced directly from MTD, and it is sold individually.

A fuel tank cap assembly prevents contaminants and particles from entering the gas tank and causing problems with the carburetor or engine. The cord between the insert and the fuel cap is meant to prevent the loss of the fuel cap. However, over time the cord can wear out and break. The threads on the cap can also become worn down or swell from heat. When this occurs, consider replacing the fuel tank cap assembly. The replacement job is easy and should not need any tools, except maybe some vice grips to remove the old fuel tank cap assembly. This fuel tank cap assembly will work in conjunction with many different types of lawn and garden maintenance equipment. Most have a small engine, like lawnmowers, tillers, and log splitters. Some of this equipment is produced by the brands Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Honda, Huskee, Lawn-Boy, Mastercut, MTD, Murray, Troy-Bilt, and Yard Machines. It is a genuine OEM part.
This collar is an OEM part designed for engines on lawn and garden equipment. It is part of the fan cover that protects the fan on the engine. If this part is missing or damaged and needs to be replaced, this OEM collar is designed to withstand the harsh conditions of engine heat. During maintenance, it is possible to find that normal wear and tear has caused the collar to become loose or missing. It can be replaced with a wrench set and the diagram for the engine model being serviced. The model diagram should be referenced to determine how many fan cover collars are needed for the model in question. Use a wrench set to remove the fan cover collar that needs to be replaced. Once the damaged one is out, use the wrench set to install the new one. Do not overtighten the fan cover collar. Over tightening can cause the cover to strip and be useless. This lawn mower fan collar cover is sold as an individual item. Make sure to order the quantity needed. It is compatible with Cub Cadet engines.
Any small engine is installed into a lawn or garden machine with a variety of hardware. The machines typically take a lot of wear and tear, causing even the most durable mounting and securing hardware to loosen or fail. Flange bolts are used in a variety of ways for many small engines, and whether for mounting or as part of a system, it is important. This replacement flange bolt is designed for use in Honda, Lawn Boy, Toro and Honda Marine engines. It is compatible with hundreds of machines depending on various applications. This is an OEM replacement part that will require the appropriately sized wrench to remove or install properly. It ships individually.
This is a genuine replacement for Honda engines that need a new 45.5 mm bolt for various lawn and garden machines. This bolt-stud is designed to mount the pull-starter and the cover fan and is a specialty piece that can only be replaced with a genuine manufacturer replacement part. Over time, the bolt-stud can become worn or stripped. It can also be lost or damaged during the course of other repairs. It should be replaced immediately, and this genuine OEM part will provide the exact fit for compatible engines. This genuine bolt-stud is manufactured to exact standards by Honda. It is designed to work with engines found in various Honda machines, as well as those from Toro and Lawn Boy. This bolt is sold as an individual unit. Always wear gloves and allow the engine to cool completely before doing any work. It may also be wise to disconnect the spark plug for added safety when doing engine repairs. Replacing this bolt will require some wrenches, but is a fairly simple repair.
