The wonderful parts pros on the phone said that it was probably the diode or the magnetron. So we tried the cheapest way first and it worked so happy to have my microwave back and working for only a few dollars rather buying a new appliance. After removing the control panel I noticed one of the thermostats looked discolored. After testing determined it was bad. Ordered the replacement and installed, which only took about 10 minutes.
