Description

This surface burner valve regulates gas flow to a cooktop/range burner. Used in the left front or right rear position, it restores smooth knob control so the burner lights and the flame adjusts properly from simmer to high. What it does:

• Meters and shuts off gas to a single top burner
• Position-specific: intended for the left front or right rear location on the manifold
• Helps resolve issues like a hard-to-turn knob, inconsistent flame height, or a burner that won't adjust as expected
• Can correct no-gas flow to that burner when the original valve is blocked or failed

What's included:

• 1 gas surface burner valve (LF/RR orientation)

Install notes:

• Shut off gas supply and disconnect power before servicing
• Lift the cooktop/top panel to access the manifold; note hose/tube routing and valve orientation
• Transfer any orifice holder/fittings from the old valve as required; avoid overtightening compression connections
• Use an approved gas-thread sealant if specified and leak-test all joints with a soap-and-water solution before use
